About Nina and her work

Now specialising in supporting Conception, Pre-Conception and those with fertility issues, providing Reflexology and Homeopathy, I have had numerous successful outcomes over the years.

I have been established in the field of Complementary Medicine for over thirty years, starting my training in 1988 studying homeopathy.

After graduating with a Physics Degree along with social and biological sciences in the 70’s, my interests led me into a career within the NHS working with patients in Medical Physics and Nuclear Medicine.

My youngest child forced me to look into the realms of natural medicine as orthodox medicine did not recognise hyperactivity and it’s causes thirty four years ago; I experienced the trials and emotions of bringing up a hyperactive child with what is now known as ADHD.

My search for answers into my child’s behaviour led me to look at the way Complementary Medicine approaches this and other problems. Being a scientist, particularly a physicist, and at that time a sceptic, has been useful, when considering how holistic treatments are encouraging the body to heal on both the physical and energetic levels.

lavenderWe all exist in a body which is continually trying to reach optimum wellness. Its own power to heal itself is limitless. Holistically it is this healing power which Complementary Medicine, in all its forms, is aiding.

Needless to say my daughter benefited greatly from various Complementary therapies and now has a Masters Degree from Surrey University, she is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Pediatrics at The Royal Marsden Hospital,  and studying for PhD having been awarded the prestigious NIHR research grant.

Having worked at a number of Complementary Health Centres, I now have my own long established, busy and successful Clinic in Sutton, Surrey serving a large area of South London including Epsom, Cheam, Ewell, Banstead, Wallington, Purley, Carshalton, Morden, Wimbledon and Worcester Park.

I am a fully qualified tutor of Adult Education and have taught for Local Authorities and private colleges and I now run my own school – The Surrey School of Reflexology.

All initial appointments will involve a detailed consultation where details of your current state of health and your past history will be looked at and discussed. Lifestyle and exercise patterns are also an important aspect of your treatment and as your practitioner I need to have an understanding of all the factors that may be affecting your health including how you feel physically and emotionally. We will then discuss the treatments which would be most beneficial to you and plan an initial program. It is not necessary to come with a definite decision made as to which treatment you want to have. Advice will also be given regarding nutritional supplements.

In accordance with UK and EU legislation I confirm that there is no intention implied or otherwise that any therapy or supplement given to a client is done so with the intention of it being a cure, diagnosis or as a preventative for any disease. Any references, studies or testimonials on this site do not imply that similar results will occur when the same therapy is experienced by another.

It is always recommended that clients visit their GP or Consultant if there is any medical problem before having complementary therapies. Food supplements must never be used as a substitute for a varied diet.
